On February 17 (Sat), Miwa-kun (M1), Takeshita-kun (B3), and I went to the Tateyama mountains to ski at the "Sanroku ski resort." In the morning around 9:30 am, Miwa-kun kindly gave us a ride to the Tateyama mountains. In fact, Miwa-kun and Takeshita-kun are very good at skiing. However, that day, they decided to go for snowboarding and I decided to go for skiing since I am a beginner. Miwa-kun and Takeshita-kun are very brave, as it is their first time to snowboard. It was really fun!

Before climbing the mountains, we went to rent our ski and snowboarding equipment.

Learning by falling again and again
Even though it was the first time for Miwa-kun and Takeshita-kun, they chose to go for the intermediate course (!). I think both of them are very courageous, and I respect it very much!

As a result of self-learning snowboarding in a day...
Miwa-kun and Takeshita-kun could get very skilled after just one day of snowboarding and self-learning. I think it was really amazing!
However, after this day of skiing and snowboarding, everyone was so tired that we went for an okonomiyaki restaurant.

This snowboard and skiing day was so refreshing and amazing. I've learned through my two students that we can only get better by falling again and again. Thank you very much, Miwa-kun and Takeshita-kun. I also kept being invited to snowboard with them next year... What will happen? 😂 I am looking forward to the next episode...
