About Me

Hey there!

I am currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Toyama, together with Prof. Kenji Hirata, since 2021.

I've graduated from the Free University of Brussels in 2014, and got my PhD degree from the same university in 2018. My former advisor was Prof. Emanuele Garone.

I've been travelling back and forth to Japan, especially to Tokyo/Yokohama, as an exchange student. During my Master's program (2012-2014), I've been studying at the Keio University in 2013-2014, and during my PhD program, I've been working in a collaborative project with the Tokyo Institute of Technology (2016-2017). There, I've met with Prof. Takeshi Hatanaka and Prof. Masayuki Fujita.

Next, I've been working as a postdoc at the University of Michigan until 2020. I've been working on developing the Predictive Cost Adaptive Control (PCAC) with Prof. Ilya V. Kolmanovsky and Prof. Dennis S. Bernstein.

I think that's it! If you'd like to have more info about me, I invite you to visit my previous homepage, where you'll find a bit more about my hobbies.

I hope to have very exciting discussions about research with all of you in the forum!
